Simon stops 10-year-old mid-song and calls her a "gutsy little thing"

Talent is definitely something you can grow and train, but there are a lot of children out there who are just incredibly talented, and this Britain’s Got Talent audition by a ten-year-old girl is definitely a perfect example of that.

The little girl Souparnika Nair has always dreamt of standing on large stages, and she had her sight set on the prestigious and popular BGT one.
She’s dressed in a flowery dress and rocking a purple flower around her right ear, and it didn’t take long before the judges and the audience fell in love with her – and she hadn’t even started singing yet!

Everyone in the room was just in awe of how adorable she looked, and they were definitely curious to see what she would perform.
Simon stops 10-year-old mid-song and calls her a "gutsy little thing"

You could tell she was a little bit nervous, but that all started to disappear when she started to sing.
The audition didn’t exactly go as planned. Souparnika decided to perform “The Trolley Song” by Judy Garland, made popular in the movie ‘Meet Me in St. Louis’ from 1944. The audience definitely enjoyed the performance, but then something happened that occurs once in a while on the show.

Simon Cowell made her stop the performance in the middle, something he tends to do often. He said that he didn’t like the song she’s chosen, but wanted to see her perform something else.

He even cracked out a joke which the audience seemed to enjoy: he said the song actually reminds him of Judge David if the man were to ever release a single.

Nonetheless, having your audition stopped by perhaps the most important judge of them all is definitely something that could make anyone nervous, but Souparnika managed to stay calm and collected through all of it.

She listened closely to what Simon had to say, and when he proposed that she’d perform the song “Never Enough” instead, she absolutely went for it.
The song, which we all know from the popular hit movie ‘The Greatest Showman’, would be much more fitting for the girl’s voice, Simon believed. He is usually never wrong about these things because Souparnika absolutely blew everyone away.
She beautifully sang the song she hadn’t even prepared for and definitely aced her audition. Round two was a major success!
Souparnika definitely makes it look so easy and effortless, and you can just tell that she’s performing with so much emotion.

Even the difficult higher notes of the song aren’t a problem at all for this talented little girl.
